Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Journal of Health Sciences Institute (MAKÜ Sag. Bil. Enst. Derg.) is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, periodical e-journal published twice a year by Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Health Sciences Institute. MAKÜ Journal of Health Sciences Institute covers current studies in the form of clinical and experimental original articles, reviews, case reports, articles prepared with the recommendation of the editor, technical notes, and letters to the editor related to health sciences (veterinary, medicine, dentistry, nursing, and sports sciences). The journal is indexed by national and international indexes such as DOAJ, Google Scholar, Index Copernicus, SciLib, Researchbib, SOBIAD, and Turkey Citation Index. The journal requires that the articles it publishes comply with ethical rules and scientific standards related to the subject and do not have commercial concerns.
Each author of the articles to be submitted to our journal must enter their ORCID ID number into the system.
Scientific Responsibility
All scientific responsibility of the articles belongs to the authors. The authors specified in the submitted article must have contributed to the study to a certain extent. The order of the authors' names should be a joint decision. The corresponding author is deemed to have accepted the order of authors by filling out the "Author Responsibility and Publication Rights Transfer Form" on behalf of all authors. The names of all authors should be included in the section under the article title.
Ethical Responsibility
The compliance of the articles with ethical rules is the responsibility of the authors. In experimental studies conducted on animals, it should be stated that the study protocol was approved by the animal experiments ethics committee of the institution where the study was conducted. Authors must submit the ethics committee approval along with the article. If there are previously published quoted texts, tables, pictures, etc., in the article, the authors must obtain written permission from the copyright holder and the authors and indicate this in the article. During the evaluation phase of the article, if deemed necessary by the editorial board, the authors may be asked to submit the research data and/or the ethics committee approval document related to the article.
