The ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification Audit was conducted at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Institute of Health Sciences
To evaluate the effectiveness of quality management system studies and to complete the ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification process, the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) conducted the ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification Audit on July 02–03, 2026.
To establish the infrastructure of the quality management system and to develop a quality culture, ISO 9001 Quality Management System Training was organized for relevant personnel between June 30–July 04, 2025. The training included information on the fundamental principles of the quality management system, process approach, risk-based thinking, documentation management, and continuous improvement.
In the TSE audit conducted as part of the certification process, the documentation, processes, applications, and activities related to the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard of our institute's quality management system were comprehensively evaluated. The applicability, sustainability, and effectiveness of the quality management system were reviewed during the audit process.
As Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Institute of Health Sciences, we aim for continuous improvement in education, research, and administrative processes in line with our quality-focused management approach; we are steadfastly continuing our efforts to comply with international quality standards.
The ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification process is an important step in our institute's quality journey and will contribute to the development of a more effective, transparent, and sustainable service understanding.
